OSCAR NIEMEYER

Based on writings by Oscar Niemeyer, in the opinion of critics and clarifications provided by the architect himself, the author takes the reader to understand the architecture of the twentieth century, illuminating also issues related to modernism and architecture in general. The text is supplemented with pictures of three generations of photographers that reveal, each in its way, the natural plasticity of the buildings of Niemeyer.
