Home is a place to share, to be with family or friends. Yet however gregarious our lifestyles, we all need solitary spaces away from our favourite people -for reading, working from home, making shopping lists or simply downloading the stresses of the day. But finding such privacy in today´s open-plan contemporary spaces, or in our increasingly space-challenged living quarters, has become a difficult task.
