AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH - IMPORTADO

A clear and direct explanation of the problems of climate change and how we can deal with them. The planet is in danger and each individual can and must act to save it. Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States, has been a passionate advocate of action to halt climate change for many years. In 1990 he began taking a slide presentation about global warming around the United States. This presentation inspired a documentary film, An Inconvenient Truth (produced by Participant Productions of Syriana and Good Night, and Good Luck fame) which premiered at this year´s Sundance Festival to great acclaim. Al Gore´s book of the same title was described in the New York Times as ´lucid, harrowing and bluntly effective´, a book which could ´galvanize public opinion about a real and present danger´ and ´push awareness of global warming to a real tipping point´.
