THE THIRTY-NINE STEPS - IMPORTADO

Europe, May 1914. The war is about to begin. Young Richard Hannay is back in London from South Africa after making his money in the gold mines. One evening, Hannay returns to his flat to find a man on the floor , with a knife through his heart. Alone in the world with the knowledge that German spies are gaining vital information on British warships, Hannay flees to the hills of Scotland until it is time for him to tell the British Government what he knows. Meanwhile, the spies divide their time between chasing Hannay and planning their escape from Britain by the ThiFty-Nine Steps. Hannay´s task is to reach those Thirty-Nine Steps in time. But first he has to find out where they are.
